This is a "hobby site" and because I don't get paid for this, sometimes I may take a day or two to answer requests and so forth.

Yes, this site goes through a lot of bandwidth, but I have an affordable plan that hosts my business sites (listed in the "User Web Sites" section above) that gives me enough space and bandwidth for this one. The cost of this site is offset by the ads that run on the bottom of each page here. We're not asking for donations, nor that you click the links at the bottom of the pages to generate some revenue. However, if you really, really want to donate, you can donate any amount by clicking the button here.

How to Add Images

To add a picture, this is what you do:

You can either email me the picture and I can upload it, or you can yourself.

You'll need a picture regular size and a picture 100 pixels wide (if you don't have that, just do it as it is and I'll correct it later, not a big deal).

1. Go to the user you want to add a picture to.
2. Click the "Media" tab (just under the hit counter).
3. Click "Add a new Media item" (you'll get a pop-up).
4. In the "Media file to upload" field hit the "Browse" and find the regular sized picture on your computer.
5. Keep the "Automatic thumbnail" box checked.
6. In the "Thumbnail to upload" field hit the "Browse" and find the 100 pixel sized picture on your computer (if you have one).
7. Keep the "File name on server" empty (unless you want to rename the file when uploaded). Avoid common names like "me" or "1" or "us" or "family". Each file should be distinct such as "john-smith-37" or something.
8. In the "Format" field click the type of file it is.
9. In the "Type" field select "Photo" if it is a photo (or whatever it is).
10. In the "Title" field type in what you want to title the picture as (a small description or whatever)
11. "Hebrew" and "Romanized" are usually left blank as is. They are for users with different characters or languages than English.
12. "Highlighted Image" will make this the picture seen as the main picture in the profile if selected "Yes" and will not make it the main picture if selected "No".
13. "Use this image as the thumbnail" is "No"
14. Click "Add a new Note" if you want to put a note on the picture, such as date, where you got the picture, or whatever you want to write.
15. Click "Save"

You're done.

If you got an error message or did it wrong, I'll have to delete the uploaded file and try again. (Minor bug.)

If that's too much for you, just send me the picture(s) and I'll gladly do it. It only takes a minute or 2 for me to do it and I don't mind at all.
