You always make watching movies (especially the ones with any sort of locks, keys, etc.) so fun to watch!

    Well said Gilles.

I certainly relate with you all too often regarding these very unrealistic situations. Have you seen the Youtube video where someone supposedly opens a vehicle door with a tennis ball? They claim to cut a small hole in the ball and insert the ball with the hole next to the door lock cylinder. Then the person squeezes the tennis ball and the lock button pops up. Hahaha.

They forgot to film the guy just out of camera view with his remote control pressing the unlock button...

You know as well as I do that such a feat could never happen (in any vehicle) simply because the lock has to move a linkage rod connected to a mechansim elsewhere inside the door. The only thing forced air would do is possibly move the dust cover shutter, but that's about all that's going to happen...

I wonder how many people are out there in this world trying to open cars with a tennis ball? Priceless. There are plenty of tricks in this trade, but that method is certainly not one of them.

Most of these supposed methods are nothing more than just pure comedy, but hey that's Hollywood!
